  Massive price increase for moving to Milwaukee, I do not recommend. Half a star service at best. Terminated service with them and they back billed me which I didn't even think was legal. I had been a faithful customer to Mike Immel at Rural Mutual Insurance for years, always paid on time, utilized their services for a small claim once in the 11+ years I had their coverage. I then moved to Milwaukee and my coverage over tripled! They claimed that the substantial increase was all due to the higher risk of living in a city and we cordially parted ways. A month after terminating their service and switching insurers (saving me thousands), I was back billed a large amount for a term 5 months prior that I had paid for in full. I was surprised and discussed this with them several times but ultimately they would not admit their fault for back billing a past client and Mike Immel threatened that if I did not pay them it'd show badly on my credit report. I was forced to pay but I am blown away by the sleezy way this situation was handled and ho the company operates and would not recommend. I also received a secondary bill 1.5 months after terminating services for a service I am obviously no longer using. I never expected this from them and have never encountered a company so interested in making it big off of their customers. Very disappointed.
